Horseback riding through nature in the Linguaglossa area for an hour and a half is an unforgettable experience. Along the way you will reach the bed of the Oliva torrent, cross cultivated fields and olive groves, and experience an excursion that will make you discover the area in a whole new way.
This half-day horseback ride in the Etna Park will take you on a discovery of rugged, unexplored and magnificent terrain that will enchant you. You will reach the Monte Crisimo refuge at an altitude of 1140 metres for breakfast and then descend through the 1923 lava flow.

We had a brilliant time; we took the route from the city to Mount Etna, which took us to a lovely winery (Gambino). The horses were a bit snacky but very well-behaved, easy to control and well desensitised. The team packed us some water and sandwiches, which were perfect for taking a break and recharging our batteries. We never felt rushed. It was a lovely trail ride – you’ll definitely need long trousers and to watch out for thorns. Good balance is essential for some of the trickier sections of the trail. Stunning views – highly recommended!

The staff very friendly and welcoming, Franco and Alessandro very nice and professional, the guide Sabrina also very helpful in helping us find the right way not being from the area, a wonderful experience that I recommend to everyone

We chose Freedome on a recent family holiday to Sicily. With varying aged young children and different skill levels we experienced a little bit of to and fro finding a ranch that would accommodate us. Alessia and the customer care team handled our enquiry and contacted the ranches on our behalf to arrive at the perfect solution. They also handled the deposit lodging and recall until plans were finalised. We did not need to worry once the enquiry was left in Freedome.it hands. On arrival at the stables we had a warm welcome. Great communication from Sabrina beforehand with photo guidance and an offer to find us if we got lost. Horses fit, well kept and beautiful. 3 guides ( Sabrina, Gaea, Alessandro) to supervise children. Our trek was beautiful, off the beaten track with a stunning view of Etna and time for a photo break. Wish we could have trekked again on our stay!
