Horseback riding through nature in the Linguaglossa area for an hour and a half is an unforgettable experience. Along the way you will reach the bed of the Oliva torrent, cross cultivated fields and olive groves, and experience an excursion that will make you discover the area in a whole new way.
This half-day horseback ride in the Etna Park will take you on a discovery of rugged, unexplored and magnificent terrain that will enchant you. You will reach the Monte Crisimo refuge at an altitude of 1140 metres for breakfast and then descend through the 1923 lava flow.

We had a brilliant time; we took the route from the city to Mount Etna, which took us to a lovely winery (Gambino). The horses were a bit snacky but very well-behaved, easy to control and well desensitised. The team packed us some water and sandwiches, which were perfect for taking a break and recharging our batteries. We never felt rushed. It was a lovely trail ride – you’ll definitely need long trousers and to watch out for thorns. Good balance is essential for some of the trickier sections of the trail. Stunning views – highly recommended!

Alessandro and Sabrina are amazing guides and wonderful people. The views are absolutely incredible, and the horses are very friendly and well-behaved. It was such a pleasure to ride together. Definitely recommend.

This was one of the best trail rides I have been on. Beautiful views of both Etna and the ocean as you travel along trails with wild flowers, orchards of fruit and olives, through small streams and by pastures with sheep grazing. Thank you for a lovely afternoon and your care with our wellbeing. I highly recommend this activity.
