The Paganella forest trails are among the best snowshoeing trails in Trentino. This mountain range touches 2,125 meters with the summit of Cima Roda and provides extensive panoramic views of the Brenta Dolomites.
Snowshoeing on Paganella is an activity for everyone, even children. Easy trails can be traveled through the woods, ascending to high altitude on foot or by cable car. Those seeking an even more atmospheric experience can snowshoe at sunrise or sunset.
The best glimpses of the Brenta Dolomites are appreciated as you ascend to the Paganella Mountains. The snowshoe trails from Andalo are suitable for everyone, both in the version with a cable car ascent and in the full version (ascent on foot with 300 m of elevation gain).
Staying around Andalo, without going up in altitude, you can do the Pian dei Sarnacli loop trail. Here, too, the view of the snow-capped peaks is enchanting. While for a slightly more challenging hike, you can reach the “La Montanara” lodge in the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park.
Snowshoeing with an Alpine Guide in Andalo varies in price depending on location and duration. They range from 25€ per person for an easy 3-hour snowshoehike to 40€ per person for a full-day hike. Snowshoes and sticks are always included in the price.
If you plan to spend a winter vacation or weekend in Andalo, don’t miss the chance to go snowshoeing on Paganella to discover the beauty of the landscape. Snowshoeing can also be an original gift idea for nature lovers and anyone who feels like doing something different and breaking the usual daily routine. Seeing is believing!

Beautiful snowshoeing. Davide, the guide, very professional, helpful and friendly. I really appreciated the idea of going off-trail as there was so much snow. Absolutely to do it again.

Our guide Davide decided at the last minute not to go up the mountain because of the wind and fog that would have prevented us from seeing the wonderful panorama of Andalo. However, he took us on a beautiful route through the woods around the village. Along the way, he gave us interesting explanations on the morphology of the area and how to tackle the trails safely. The only criticism I can make is the failure to provide us with snowshoes, which would have been a nice help during the long walk. And also the closed refuge on Tuesday where we were supposed to have an aperitif, patience. But it was a wonderful experience that I recommend to everyone.

An experience to be absolutely repeated. The guide is very knowledgeable and told us many interesting facts about the local fauna and flora. Slightly tiring (if you're not very fit) because the whole first half is uphill, but really doable for everyone (for me, it was the first snowshoe hike ever), and it's really worth it because the view from the Paganella is worth that little extra effort. Apart from that, very reasonable price. Ski lifts excluded (at least from the price I paid). There are malghe (shepherd's huts) in the area where they cook divinely. I'm only sorry to have written the review after almost a year, but I hope you'll forgive me... enjoy!

It was our first snowshoe hike and we were really enthusiastic.nWe set off from Andalo and once we got on the cable car, we put on our snowshoes and set off. Honestly, we thought we would have done less climbing, but since we were a group of resins with a 'good pace', the guide suggested we lengthen the tour and we ended up at the La Roda refuge! At the refuge, we rested (excellent crepes) and then descended by chairlift. It was just a shame that we didn't enjoy the view because of the cloudy sky.nOverall a very good experience.nReally good guide!

I went snowshoeing for the first time and I will do it again. Easy route, for those who are a bit trained there are no difficulties. You immerse yourself in nature and see wonderful landscapes. Good and attentive mountain guides.

We arrive at the headquarters, they hand us our equipment, we go up in the gondola, they explain to us how to put on the ciapsole and we split into 3 groups to start the route. Everything was fine, we walked and every now and then we stopped and the guide gave us a little description of the area. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day and we didn't get to see the sunset but it was still a good experience.
