With a boat tour of the Amalfi Coast, you get to admire the most beautiful landscapes. The view that can be enjoyed from the sea, with the imposing sheer ridges overhanging the water and the villages set like pearls among the mountains, is truly breathtaking. Starting from Amalfi, you can spend the day on a boat, visiting all the most picturesque places on the Coast. The Fjord of Furore, Conca dei Marini, the Emerald Grotto, Positano, Praiano, all the way to Punta Campanella: a true tour of wonders!
Amalfi can also be the starting point for a boat trip to Capri. Those who choose to reach Capri from Amalfi will sail along the Amalfi Coast to Positano and then along the Sorrento Peninsula, enjoying a complete view of the area. When you reach Capri, you circumnavigate the island, stopping at major points of interest such as the Blue Grotto, the Natural Arch and the Faraglioni.
Those going to Capri for the first time cannot pass up a visit to the center of the island, an opportunity offered by many boat tours. It will be a pleasure to get lost in the picturesque streets of the town center, admire the villas and gardens in bloom, and enjoy an ice cream or a slice of torta caprese in the small panoramic square.
Positano is just over 15 km away from Amalfi, but the best way to reach the “pearl of the Coast” is definitely by sea. In this way, you avoid the queues that often get in the way and enjoy magnificent views of the coast. Near Positano, it is possible to stop at a few coves for swimming, and then visit the colorful heart of the village.
Strolling through the alleys, you can take wonderful photos, buy some souvenirs, and perhaps stop to eat at a seaside restaurant. For the romantics, it’s also possible to do a boat tour at sunset with aperitif and enjoy an idyllic atmosphere in one of the most exclusive places in the Mediterranean.
Prices for a boat trip on the Amalfi Coast depend on the duration, itinerary, and type of tour. For example, a half-day boat ride around Amalfi costs 70 to 80 euros per person. For a full-day trip to Capri departing from Amalfi, you spend about 140 euros per person.
Rates increase when it comes to private boat tours. This type of experience involves a professional skipper and an exclusive boat rental, to be enjoyed in the company of your loved ones; an ideal tour for couples or small groups. Prices start from 600 euros per boat, a fee to be divided among the participants.
A boat tour can be a special gift for any occasion, whether it is a birthday, anniversary or other events. A boat tour is a guaranteed hit: it requires no physical exertion, and offers the opportunity to see beautiful places. Who wouldn’t love to receive it as a gift?
A boat trip is also an original idea for group events and celebrating a special moment in style, such as a graduation or bachelor/bachelorette party. Of course, renting a private boat is more appropriate for these occasions, perhaps also opting for a solution that includes lunch, dinner or aperitif.

08 Oct 2020 | Half-day boat tour and snorkeling on the Amalfi Coast
We spent a beautiful day on a boat on the Amalfi Coast: the group was small and the crew attentive and friendly. We sailed along the coast from Amalfi to Positano, stopping along the way at beautiful beaches for swimming and snorkelling... wonderful! The guides shared information about the attractions and cultural background of the place with knowledge and humour, proving knowledgeable, informative and entertaining. Breathtaking views, crystal clear waters, friendly and helpful crew - what more could you want? A must for anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast, a fun and refreshing way to see the wonderful Amalfi Coast. Highly recommended, thank you Antonio!

The best day we have spent on the Amalfi Coast!!! The skipper's kindness, the breathtaking views, the stops for swimming at the best spots and the many little treats we were offered (melon snack, soft drinks, wine and limoncello) made it an unforgettable experience! Congratulations, Linda and Samuel.
