A trip that’s well worth the money
Despite the less-than-perfect weather, we visited the island’s main caves. It was a shame we couldn’t go for a swim as planned, but it was still a lovely morning. Our captain was very kind and told us all about the island.

Leonardo was an extraordinary captain and such a lovely chap! Licia’s explanations were excellent! The tour was magnificent, with plenty of visits to caves and lots of opportunities to swim in the island’s turquoise waters.

When a skipper’s experience makes all the difference
A truly enjoyable experience on the boat tour of the Marettimo caves. A big shout-out to Walter, an experienced skipper and true expert on the island. Despite the choppy sea on the southern side, he managed to take us on the full circumnavigation by choosing to do the route in reverse, with the wind at our backs on the most challenging stretch. Thanks to this decision, we were able to enter all the caves in complete safety. Walter isn’t a great entertainer, but his expertise makes all the difference: when you ask him questions, he shares interesting facts and authentic information that only someone who truly knows Marettimo can provide. A tour I would recommend without hesitation.

Highly recommended
Lisa was lovely, and Captain Leonardo was very professional. A fantastic island and crystal-clear sea. The aperitif was just as described; the honey was particularly worth mentioning.

Everything was fine – the crew were friendly and helpful. It was a shame about the cloudy weather and the slight swell.
