Rafting: what it is and how to practice it
Rafting is a river sport that is practiced on special boats, rafts, and involves descending a river or mountain stream. On board each raft, an experienced guide gives the crew commands to overcome rapids and other natural obstacles.
Anyone can go rafting, even without any experience. You just need to have good aquatic skills and choose the course that suits your level. A theoretical-practical lesson on paddling techniques and safety rules is conducted before setting off. In order not to run into any danger, it is important to always follow the guide’s directions.

A Perfect Rafting Experience in Light Rain
Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. The weather played a big part in making it even better. There was a light rain throughout the trip, which turned out to be perfect for rafting. The activity does require a bit of fitness, but it’s absolutely worth it.nnWe initially booked the Classic tour and later upgraded to the Adventure tour, and I’m glad we did. It was definitely worth the upgrade. The guides were excellent, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and safe.nnI’d definitely recommend it, and I’d visit again.

A day to remember
Yesterday, 23 August at 1 pm, my boyfriend, I and some of our friends went rafting down the river. It was a wonderful experience – a first for all of us – and we really enjoyed it: it was fun, not too difficult but still quite challenging. However, with the excitement and enthusiasm we had for the adventure, we didn’t even notice the effort. The staff were very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and approachable – especially our instructor Simone, who accompanied us; he’s a lovely person. We’ll definitely be back; it was a wonderful experience and we’d highly recommend it.

Definitely worth doing again!
The team are very knowledgeable and provide all the guidance needed to ensure a completely safe experience. On arrival, they explain how the activity will take place, but it’s advisable to arrive already wearing your swimwear and the shoes you’ll be using, and to leave any valuables in the car, as there are no lockers with keys, just simple plastic baskets in which to store your rucksacks and a change of clothes. Otherwise, once you’ve been issued with the equipment (wetsuit, life jacket, buoyancy aid and helmet), you’re taken upstream to the starting point for the rubber dinghy trip. Halfway through the trip, just before the rapids, you’ll be shown what to do if you fall into the water, with a quick swimming lesson in the river! So, a dip in the cold water and off you go again! Definitely recommended even for those who are a bit nervous, as it’s really safe and great fun.
