Get ready for a one-day snowshoe hike in one of the snowiest destinations in Tuscany, Lake Nero dell'Abetone. Along the 9 km route, with a maximum altitude difference of 500 m, you will cross a snow-covered beech forest before arriving at the sight of the peaks touching 2,000 metres. Here you will admire the impressive frozen lake while drinking hot tea or a bitter drink at the bivouac guarding it. We are waiting for you!

Activity to try AT LEAST once: atmospheric location, very knowledgeable guide (and equipped in case of need) and level actually suitable for anyone used to walking (the pace is quite relaxed and aimed at enjoying the surroundings). By the end we were pretty tired, but nothing a good night's sleep can't cure. Well done!

It was a wonderful day, the weather was our friend and walking on freshly fallen snow in this magical landscape was priceless. Our guide Alessio accompanied us along the route with wisdom and judgement (the fresh snow is beautiful but must be approached with caution), telling us many interesting things about the place. An experience to remember.

A positive experience and very well managed. The equipment provided was in excellent condition. Alessio was our guide, prepared and very attentive in managing the whole group. He gave us a lot of information, both in the correct use of the equipment and in explaining the route and its difficulties. Despite the length of the route and the commitment, especially in the ascent, Alessio always gave us time to rest and respected everyone's time. The tea and bitters offered during the break were much appreciated. The panorama speaks for itself.
