Today we went on a wonderful kayaking trip with Luca, a qualified instructor who doesn’t just take ‘clients’ for a spin along the Trabocchi coast, but is a dedicated professional who is passionate about his homeland and has a wealth of maritime knowledge. A fascinating kayaking experience along the Trabocchi coast! We paddled right underneath them and, as well as the trabocchi, we had the chance to see some wonderful coves hidden amongst the rocks. This experience is suitable for everyone, even beginners like me, thanks to our guide Luca, who is a highly competent instructor who carries out his work with passion; he immediately put us at ease with his kindness and expertise. First, he taught us how to paddle, and then during the tour he told us the history of the trabocchi and shared lots of interesting facts about the marine flora and fauna in these areas. A highly recommended experience, suitable even for children.

I went on a kayaking trip along the Trabocchi coast. It was a brilliant experience; our instructor was Matteo, who was excellent and really helpful. I’d never done anything like this before, but they explain all the basic techniques at the start, so it’s easy and enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend it.
