Unfortunately, I can’t give it 5 stars, as for X safety reasons it wasn’t possible to visit all the gorges, as I had done years ago. nThat said, it’s always a pleasure to admire this place.nThe guides were very attentive and professional.

BODY RAFTING
A really lovely experience and definitely one to try! Body rafting in the Alcantara Gorges is a fun and unique activity, especially for those who love being in touch with nature and experiencing something a bit out of the ordinary. The gorges are truly stunning and make the experience even more wonderful. The only slight downside was the staff, who I found rather unengaging and not particularly keen on generating much enthusiasm during the activity. Overall, however, it’s a pleasant experience worth having at least once.

A wonderful experience
The place is truly enchanting. For anyone who’s never been there before, it’s an incredible experience. The equipment provided is suitable and the team looks after it with care. Even getting kitted out and the (very short) transfers are all part of the fun and make you feel a bit like a gladiator entering the arena. The staff are really friendly and very professional. It’s a shame the trip was shorter than expected, because it seems the last pond – the hardest to reach, but also the most beautiful – has practically silted up and isn’t worth the effort it takes to get there. If I may offer a suggestion, I’d review the photography set-up, adding a few videos and taking a few more photos. Not having to worry about it yourself really takes a weight off your shoulders, and receiving the photos within a few hours is great, but I was hoping for just a little bit more. Anyway, WELL DONE. I’d recommend it to everyone, even those with children.
