Full description
Immerse yourself in the luxuriant nature of the Pesio Valley, in the province of Cuneo, and enjoy a ride in the woods accompanied by an expert guide.
Climb into the saddle and venture along scenic, unspoilt paths enclosed by the highest peaks of the Ligurian Alps: a unique opportunity to discover marvellous places while galloping in freedom.
At the end of yourhorseback riding excursion, you will stop at a farmhouse to enjoy an aperitif based on traditional Piedmontese products. Are you ready to leave?
What we will do
We will meet at a beautiful ranch in Chiusa di Pesio (CN). We will be welcomed by our guides and , once we have prepared the horses and been given all the safety instructions, we will be ready to mount the saddle and set off.
We will ride along fascinating forest paths, in a blaze of nature and mountain landscapes. Together with the guide, we will discover the secrets of the area, its history and its peculiarities. We will cross the prehistoric village of Flamulasca and pass the ancient castle of Mombrisone.
Then we will go back through the pine forest to the Peschiere pond and , trotting and galloping in peace, we will enjoy the rest of the route until we return to our starting point. Before saying goodbye, however, we will stop at an agritourism to enjoy an aperitif of local products.
In total, the activity will last about 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
This excursion is at an intermediate level and is aimed at people who already know how to ride a horse, with a good familiarity in all three gaits (stride, trot and gallop). Participation is possible from 14 years of age.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the time chosen for the activity.
This activity is bookable from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
