Rafting Morgex: the best rafting routes in Aosta Valley on the Dora Baltea River
Morgex rafting centers organize trips for all tastes and levels, from the first-time rafting experiences, suitable for beginners, to the Integral trails on the Dora Baltea River. A classic rafting trip consists of a 9-kilometer course that alternates between calm stretches and adrenaline-fueled rapids.
For families with children 7 years and older, the guides suggest a 3-kilometer course, which still offers all the thrills of rafting. For even younger children, there’s a 1.5-kilometer baby route, so that they can also have fun in nature in complete safety.
Also starting from Morgex, the more experienced and adventurous can tackle the integral route on the Dora Baltea. This is a 14 to 17 km route, which presents rapids up to grade IV in the Prè Saint Didier area.
Morgex: how much does a rafting trip cost?
The price of a rafting trip in Morgex varies depending on the length and type of route. For example, you spend 25 euros per person for a first-time rafting experience. For longer and more challenging routes, prices start at 50 euros per person. Equipment and shuttle rides to embarkation/disembarkation points are always included.

Great activity
While staying in Valle d’Aosta we decided to go try rafting. We were 4 adults with 2 kids aged 9 and 5. Upon arriving we were given a brief orientation on a worse case scenario. We went on the raft and it was so fun! The kids were too cold though since they are little and were not paddling. Next time round i’d consider getting my son diving gloves (if they exist lol). Other than that, the instructor was extremely nice and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely do it again :) Oh and don’t forget to buy the photos!!

Wonderful experience!
Perfect organisation and a fantastic team who gave us a unique experience. No fears whatsoever on a route that was run to perfection by our knowledgeable and very friendly guide! Wonderful for us as parents and unforgettable for our 10-year-old son! I recommend arriving already with your swimming costume on and a backpack with slippers and bathrobe for the final shower. Nothing more!

Fantastic experience! The staff is very nice and above all competent! They gave us all the information we needed to make the most of the experience... beautiful place surrounded by nature! Super fun, I recommend trying it at least once in your life! Tried it for the first time and already can't wait to come back!!!
