Beautiful snowshoeing with a knowledgeable and entertaining guide!

Peir Paolo is an exceptional guide, you can really tell that he loves what he does. He not only gave us a tour but also welcomed us with a smile and explained the geological history of the place in detail in a very entertaining way. We will definitely do more in the summer with him!

Postcard landscapes

It was our first snowshoe hike and I must say that we were very pleased, especially with the competence and professionalism of the guide Pier Paolo, who not only led us safely through beautiful itineraries, but also gradually explained the history of the place and the people, making it all the more interesting and engaging. There is little to say about the place and the panorama, because it is truly spectacular and evocative. We will certainly repeat this experience in other locations.

Wonderful experience. My partner and I had never snowshoed before and we really enjoyed it. The guide Erika was incredible. She told us lots of interesting facts and gave us a great tour. We saw the lillaz waterfalls which are frozen in winter and we stopped at several vantage points to take some photos. We were really happy

10 Jan 2026 | Snowshoeing at Lake d'Arpy in the Aosta Valley

Positive first experience

Due to the weather conditions, fresh snow and the danger of avalanches, we changed our itinerary starting from planpincieux where 60 cm of freshly fallen snow awaited us; By snowshoeing in the forest we limited the cold and it was a pleasant experience; Very interesting the stories and explanations of the guide Pier paolo; The organisation was excellent despite the changes. I recommend it!
